The nightstands are made of wood, with a beautiful, dark, rosewood veneer and lacquered finish. All of the legs are made of solid wood and have a dark, glossy finish that ranges between a warm to dark, rich, brown color, depending on the angle or light in which one views them.

The 2, front legs on each nightstand, have a carved design that finish with their original, brass-colored feet tips. The two, back legs, are tapered with brass-colored leg tips as well (see photos.)

Each nightstand has 1 drawer, with an original, designed, brass-colored, oval-shaped, pull knob: one facing up, and one facing down(see photos.) Both drawers open and close perfectly, and the interiors have their original, sky blue-colored felt, with light signs of age and use commensurate with time (see photos.)

The nightstands are in overall good, original, and vintage condition with normal signs and light marks of age and previous usage commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the tops (see photos with a 1 centime coin for perspective), pull knobs, legs, sides, edges and overall structures (see photos), but nothing that affects their functionality or cool look. A small lack of veneer at the bottom left-hand side of one of the drawers (see photo.)

Please note: Photos were intentionally taken indoors and outdoors in natural light, to show the changes in range of color, depending upon on the change in light, angles and perspective in which they're viewed. Please also note, that due to the lacquered finish on the surfaces, certain images may show more reflections of stone or other materials, from the surrounding environment in which the photos were taken.

The nightstands are solid, sturdy and stable. They have only been gently cleaned with respect to the original patina of time. The beautiful, lacquered rosewood veneer, remains sleek and smooth.

Not only a great pair of nightstands to use as intended in a bedroom, they can also work very well in a smaller living space, loft, den or living room, as small accent, side, phone or plant tables, that will only compliment any given mid-century, vintage or other interior. less
