The relatively small open-front cabinet was constructed from stained elm wood and fitted with thin hammered iron hardware. It was produced Changhung area (nowadays Jangheung-gun) on the southern tip of Jeolla Do. The cabinet is smaller in size and features a top plank that slightly extends over the front panel. The hardware decoration is similar to Bandaji from Jeju Do with the distinction that they were flatter and thinner, lack of ornamentation such as engraving or cutout. This is evident in the large cloud-shaped hinges presented on this cabinet (compared to a piece for sale in our gallery from Jeju-do LU945036806882). The cabinet also features exposed finger joints between the top and side panels and is supported by Jokdae style timber legs. It has handles on both sides for easy transportation. The interior is equipped with two small drawers on the top and is unlined. See less
