Louis Peyrat was active/lived in France. He is known for cityscape painting, buildings,Louis Peyrat was born in Saint-Germain-Les-Belles, Limousin, France in 1911. A cousin of the well-known French painter, Maurice Utrillo, Peyrat’s Paris scenes depict the tranquil streets and houses of his neighborhood.
His craftsmanship is direct, simple and uncluttered and his palette typically included the soft warm tones of the earth. He had a unique ability to faithfully capture atmosphere and weather on canvas. See less
