This is a stunning antique oak and iron adjustable music stand from the late 1800s to early 1900s. The music rack is made of oak and features the brand "Hamilton Stands Inc." in the center. The base is made of iron with ornate gold-colored highlights. The heavy base makes it very stable. When it came to the current owner, the oak edges were blackened from 100 years of fingertips, but it has been thoroughly cleaned and sealed.
This music stand is a beautiful and functional piece of furniture that would be a great addition to any music room or studio. Perfect simply for decor, or displaying your favorite coffee table books. It is also a piece of history, as it was made by Hamilton Stands Inc., a company that has been making music stands since 1883.
