Marilina Marchica, born in 1984, was born in Agrigento, where she lives and works. She graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2008, training with Luca Caccioni, Giovanni Mundula and Adriano Bacilieri.
From the outset, Marilina Marchica has oriented her research towards the theme of subtraction and the aesthetics of the sign. Her pictorial investigation goes to the limit of abstraction thanks to a reflection on architecture and, in particular, on the wall as an internal/external diaphragm and metaphor of the relations between man, nature and time.
Architecture takes on a symbolic value in relation to collapse and demolition and imposes itself as a metaphor for a universal and existential dimension.
Marilina Marchica has had several solo exhibitions ,
2023 "Lo Spazio Fragile", FAM Gallery in Agrigento, 2021 "Ad-Arte" ,San Sebastiano Contemporary-Casa Bramante in Palazzolo Acreide, 2019 "l'Isola Plurale" Spazio HUS in Milan. In addition to the site-specific intervention conceived for the crypt of the Church of Santa Maria del Piliere in Palermo in 2017, it is worth mentioning the participation in the 2nd edition of the FAM Award ,Fabbriche Chiaramontane in Agrigento and the artist residency at Villa Aurea - Valle dei Templi, promoted by the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage of Agrigento and the. solo exhibition 'Signs and Landscapes' at the FAM Gallery in 2016, In 2021, she was invited to participate in the project 'Visioni Oblique, Libri d'artista, Libri oggetto, Fototesti per il Belice'.
Marilina Marchica's works have been published in trade magazines and volumes such as "The New Collectors Book" (New York, 2015) Artapp "Forma e Materia" ( Italy 2023) and are present in public and private Italian and foreign collections, including the Fabbriche Chiaramontane in Agrigento and the Museo delle Trame Mediterranee - Fondazione Orestiadi di Gibellina.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).

Cancellations
