A very extraordinary carved, foldable, wooden rocking chair with a low seat. I feel this must have come from the east somewhere simply because of the design and the style, but i sourced this fabulous chair from france\. So perhaps originally from a french colony.
the seat sits low the the ground and the rockers allow the slight motion when seated. This piece looks really fabulous and i can see it in a very neutral home. In excellent ready to use condition, with the bashes and bruises you would expect for the age and use.
dimensions: 42 cm wide x 70cm deep x 81cm high. Seat height at the back of the base 34cm less
