12.5" x 10" x 5.5" high.

It is signed on the underside base with Von Schierholz porcelain mark.

Established in 1817 in Thuringia, Germany, the Von Schierholz porcelain factory made Dresden wares in Rococo style, in the manner of Meissen porcelain. The approximate date of this piece is late 1800's.

This is one of the finer putti centerpiece bowls of this era. The putti have a life-like affectionate quality. From the mold process to the artistic painting, this 100 plus year old bowl captures the expert craftsmanship of antique German porcelain.

It is in good condition with minor glaze blemishes, typical of antique porcelain. All cherubs have all fingers and toes; there are a few chips on flower petals, as seen in photos.
On the inside of the bowl, there is a 1/4" spot that looks like a crack repair but might actually be paint/glue residue that happened during manufacture. less
