The vase is a smokey gray/green color … more Mid-Century Orrefors Sommerso glass Dusk series bud vase. Designed by Nils Landberg (1907-1991). The vase is a smokey gray/green color within a layer of clear crystal. It has a small rim opening, which is appropriate for one or two long stem flowers.

There is minimal wear, consistent with a gently handled vintage glass piece. Some light water spots are inside the vase, which did not come off with a gentle cleaning.

Orrefors is a glassworks in Sweden. Founded in 1898, it is one of the premiere glass makers and their pieces are eagerly collected throughout the world.
