1 Large Fine Art Traditional Hunting British Oil Painting Red Coats Riders The Stirrup Cup" Horses & Scent Hound Dogs.

Such an interesting exciting crowd English scene have exceptional perspective, with an impressive architectural view of the Nags Head pub with home ales sign on the pub outside wall in the background in Harby Leicestershire in the foreground your focus is drawn to the many dog scent hounds gathered around panting with horses and Gentleman riders who are wearing traditional red jackets white trousers and black hunting hats, to the right a young barmaid wearing blue unifrom in shorts and tall white boots has just come out of the pub carrying a tray of refreshments for the riders. Behind to to the far right an arched pub gate along a brick wall with a tall white sign just behind which has a picture of a white horse and the inscription Home Ales.
The gent nearest to the blonde hair barmaid, his holding the reins to his proud brown horse, which has a wonderful light golden mane and with the other arm outstretched has just picked his drink. Further over another rider on horseback is holding his drink about to quench his thirst, to his left another rider is holding is whip and to his side and just behind him you can see 2 other horses, with trees at the back, with cloudy grey with some blue showing through sky above.
Sheppard captures the scene so beautifully, the colours are so bright and vibrant.
