Markings represent manufacture date approximately 1820 Joseph W … more Rare - Antique Sterling Silver Fiddlers Spoons by JWB silversmith, New York. Markings represent manufacture date approximately 1820 Joseph W Boyd or JWB silversmith New York. They have two markings indicating these are some of the first spoons he made. His later versions had three markings that included a G at the end. They are large 8 1/4 long and 1 3/4 in wide at the spoon. They show ware consistent with an item of this age. There is a faint engraved initial on the top and cannot make out what it is. Thank for viewing. less
