It was purchased from C.T. Loo & Company in New York and was made at Ching-teh-chen, court manufacturer in Kaingsi Province, sometime between 1736 and 1795. The Imperial factory was established there in 1369. The body of the clay is engraved with a delicate floral pattern and covered with pink glaze. The background is decorated with spring flowers. The small lid has a radius of 3.5". Wooden stand included.
Overall, in good condition considering age - with one obvious chip in glaze, some small chips at top and some discoloration - please see photos. less
