At the bottom left there is a signature traced in a very mild and not decipherable way. It is present on the frame a plate attributing the work to Jean-Baptiste François Pater (1695-1736), considered not consistent. The landscape develops near the outlet of a river in the sea; On the left there is the landing directly to a group of houses; On the right a rowboat is detaching from the tree -lined shore, with two figures in discowed clothes. Return, the painting is presented as a frame of the late 19th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
