Italian desktop lamp of the 70s. The body and structure are made in polished brass, and the upper screen made of a metal frame covered with cocoon resin.
This material, the Cocoon, was invented after World War II to protect unarmed war vessels and other unprotected elements. It is made with plastic powder and fiberglass. Arturo Eisenkeil imported this material to Italy, with which he made lamps and marketed them.
For a bulb E27. Perfect condition, with her patina in the metal. Original electrical installation reviewed.
