Jean Rispal's foot lamp, France Circa 1955. Black lacquered metal structure in the shape of a punching and ovoid salmon -shaped screen performed in pleated cellulose acetate (commonly acrylic acrylic called “Rhodoïd”) with lacquered blank inner interior structure .
The Rispal brand was founded by Georges Léon Rispal in 1924, and is known throughout its existence for its designs in novel, biomorphic and organic forms.
All 100% original. Original Bayonet Portal. Plug, original wiring and switch.
This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
