We offer a special, timelessly beautiful 1950 vintage Sofa seat bench from France with a built-in table plate. with the table as an extension, the seat.bank can also be used as a day bed.
The design is very similar to the day bed and bench designs by Pierre Chapo and also that of Charlotte Perrand.
The lines of the bench is clear and the look is natural and therefore brilliantly beautiful.
Unfortunately, we can clearly attribute this bench design to no these well-known French furniture designers / architects, but it is clear that this bench comes from France and is of a comparable luxury quality.
* The sofa is made of the highest quality of hand and made of solid wood (very likely elm).
* The pioneer is made of velvety and silky shiny suicide similar fabric - but probably not original - in the timelessly modern and noble color black.
* The slatted frame and the black back plate are very likely not original and were replaced afterwards.
DIMENSIONS
Height to table height: 35.5 cm * height with pillow: 77 cm * height with back plate 50 cm
Width/length of the lying and seating area: 160 cm (without a table) * depth: 70 cm
CONDITION
This object is located in a partly renovated, good and beautiful vintage state with some insignificant and subtle smaller signs of use and age.
* On the solid wooden frame (which was completely sanded by us and treated with high-quality wood oil), it is occasionally smaller to medium surface scratches, smaller verses and notches, there are also light and use-related color deviations of the elm wood.
* Typical surface traces on the fabric cover are available on the pioneer, such as occasionally light color/ fabric abrasion and very light, smaller spots. The partly "darker" areas on the cover are not stains, but only typical, light/ and movement-related shades that occur at Velor-Offen fabric surfaces.
\.\.\.\. The traces are only a little more visible without being serious when you take a closer look \.\.
This piece is designed in the style of the selected designer and/or manufacturer less
