Materials: Concrete, glass and brass. Slices dining table’s versatility can be expressed in two ways, either with a glass round table top held by one set of 3 legs or with a glass oval table top held by two sets of the same legs. Each group of Rainbow like legs is held together and structured by brushed brass sheets. Every leg is composed of dyed concrete circular blocks, piled over and fixed tp each other on their inside with an iron rod. Slices dinning table is not only an expression of amplitude, comodity and stability, but it’s refined geometrical design can make anyone fall in love at first sight. Patricia Bustos is an internationally renowned Spanish artist known for her work designing utopian pieces and spaces. Her creative gaze becomes an act of rebellion and her projects are full of a disruptive narratives that evolves with social trends. Her work is imbued with deep meaning because of her endless curiosity for the human being and its concerns such philosophy, language, architecture, art and nature. Her objects are handcrafted and aim to become cult pieces. Her work seeks to evoke aesthetic emotion trough a unique story behind every design. That is why wonder is the cornerstone of her work. The indelible memory that inspires us eternally comes from wonder. Through a bold use of color and an unexpected combination of shapes and materials, she is looking for contrast. Her pieces are distinguished by translucent or reflective elements juxtaposed with handmade or raw materials. As a result, her proposal achieves an atypical and fascinating balance at the same time.
