Riccardo Galli was a well-known painter born in Milan in 1869 and died in 1944; a disciple of Giuseppe Bertini an Italian painter of the Romantic and Realist movement, he dealt extensively with portraiture and landscapes using oil , watercolor and pastel techniques. He was one of the founders of the Association of Lombard Watercolorists. He exhibited at the I Naples Biennale as well as in Turin and Florence and six times participated in the International Art Exhibition in Venice .
