Theo Ruth was inspired by African chairs in which two separate wooden parts are put together. Sitting on them creates a very sturdy whole and a comfortable chair. This armchair from the 1950s is still in good used condition with normal signs of use; slight discolouration to the fabric. Material: beech wood (legs), green Ploeg fabric and the original stuffing of metal springs, jute, horsehair and foam. Dimensions: h x w x d = 85 x 56 x 81 cm. The seat height 39 cm.
