Here we have a superb solid mahogany Victorian shop display cabinet of outstanding beauty and quality manufactured by Pollards of London hence the quality. The cabinet dates from approx. 1880/90 making it late Victorian. The cabinet has two glass doors within a mahogany frame and has two glass shelves inside with a green baize fabric to the back. It has both its locks and both working but no key. The handles are brass, the very top edge has a solid curved top front edge.
This is a gorgeous cabinet that would suit many interiors both residential and commercial. As you will see we have dressed it with jewellery which really suits it and would encourage sales but it would look equally as good in a foyer showing cups and trophy’s or in a domestic setting displaying collections or other treasured items.
Condition- Slight chip to the back of one glass shelf at the back and underside. One lock missing.
