A 1969 serigraph by the American artist Josef Alan Levi (born 1938). This Op Art serigraph uses a myriad of dots in yellow, blue, and green to create a repeated diamond pattern. Titled N-2G2Y, the work is signed to the lower right and numbered 107/120 to the lower left. The print is displayed in a metal frame and a white mat.
Born in New York City, Levi studied at the University of Connecticut, graduating with with an undergraduate degree, as well as at Columbia University. After serving in the US Army during the 1960s, he taught at Pennsylvania State University and at Fairleigh Dickinson University and was also an artist-in residence at North Carolina's Appalachian State University.
