Set of two antique late 19th century Meiji period blue and white Japanese Igezara transferware charger with distinctive brown thorn rims. The centers feature a floral motif surrounded by geometric motif of japanese luscious gardens.
The Japanese started to make these Igezara plates in the 1880's and only made them for a short period of time.
It is a set not a pair as one is one 1 inch smaller than the other one.
