An extraordinarily rare and magnificent original woodblock print in the form of a scroll by the contemporary master Xu Beihong (1895-1953). Signed and sealed with a short poem. This print is rarely seen and does not go on sale/auction often.
Unframed on a light blue mat, removed from an old frame.
Provenance: long-term holding of a Chinese family in the Pacific Northwest. The print was brought to the States during immigration.
