Made in Italy in the 20th century, the impressive craftsmanship necessary to form such a complex piece is visible in the liquid lines of the silhouette. The striking organic form evokes the fresh tendrils and new leaves of budding plants – an impression accentuated by the bright spring green hue of the glass. The sky blue of the faceted base adds a contrasting tone. The two colors merge in the reflections caused by the lines of the glass, creating vivid emerald highlights. less
