This " Wassily Kandisnky : The Masterworks " rare vintage 1988 Modernist lithograph print hardcover art book is a very special and unique book to add to your library collection.
The hardcover art book with gold tone foil embossed spine titles, and dust jacket is published by Bracken Books, London. Printed and bound in Hong Kong in 1988. It features a monograph survey collection of the Modernist artworks of the artist Wassily Kandinsky, with compelling accompanied text authored bY Ramon Tio Bellido, translated by Jane Brenton.
Wassily Kandinsky ( 1866 - 1944 ) was a Russian born Modern Expressionist painter and art theorist. He is considered to be one of the most important Abstract artists of all time, and the pioneer of The Abstract Art Movement. He was an educator at the famous Bauhaus School in Germany. He is credited with landmark theories relating to his original color compositions and concepts of spiritual life and humanity in his artworks. Art works by Kandinsky are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
