How handsome is this guy? VERY handsome! This vintage wood rocking horse has the LOOK. Hand-carved with tooled leather saddle, this painted pony pull toy hearkens back to the days when things were still built for beauty ... and built to last. I believe this beautiful horse is circa 50s.
Vintage rocking horse measures 18" tall, about 8.5" wide and 23" long.
His saddle is made from leather and both metal stirrups are still attached. I believe his long tail is straw. The cast iron wheels still roll and his rocker base ... well, rocks. :) There is light damage to one spindle on the base and one handle behind his ear is missing, as pictured. Damage is accounted for in the price. Overall in tact and in beautiful shape.
