This is a charming Vintage impressionist American rustic farm hause landscape oil painting by listed artist AILEEN RUSH. C,1970's. The painting depicts a farm home with mountains in the background.
The painting is signed by the artist in the lower left side corner. The painting is painted with oils on stretcher canvas. It has been mounted in a wooden frame. Comes ready to hang, with a wire hanger across the back.

Aileen Rush Obituary
AILEEN B. RUSH TALLAHASSEE Aileen B. Rush, 86, passed away peacefully at her residence at Harbor Chase in Tallahassee on Saturday, October 6, 2007. She was an artist well known for her oil paintings of South Florida and Western North Carolina land scapes. She was the wife of Captain James W. Rush, former Eastern Airlines pilot, who passed away in April of 2006. They were happily married for 63 years. She is survived by three sons, James and wife Joyce, Robert and wife Connie and David and wife Linda; seven grandchildren, Elise Greene, Cydney Milling, Jennifer Cristofaro, Kenny, Bobby and David Rush and West McAdams; and six great grand children, Madeline and Caroline Greene, Callie, Douglas and Jane McAdams and Dante Cristofaro. Aileens career as an artist started in college at the Univer sity of South Carolina where she graduated with a degree in Fine Arts. Over the years she received many awards in East Coast galleries competition. She held several offices including president of The American Artist Professional League, Inc. in Miami and received several commissions from the Florida Senate for paintings in the Capital. Each painting she created was a part of her life and her inner emotions sparked by the everyday life around her or in the beauty of nature. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel at Fountainhead Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7303 Babcock Street SE., Palm Bay, FL 32903, on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 4 p.m. preceded by viewing at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Aileen B. Rush to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308. less
