This is a large and heavy brass and copper masthead signal lantern that has been made into a table lamp. …

This is a large and heavy brass and copper masthead signal lantern that has been made into a table lamp. Being a masthead lamp, the glass is clear, however, this one has green cellophane applied to the inside for a more compelling look. There is a switch on the base for the fixture added to the inside the lantern. There is a separate brass post on the outside with a 3-way lamp fixture and a harp for a shade (not included). It's topped off with a very nice ship's wheel brass finial.
The antique lantern is about 12 inches tall by 12 inches across. The entire table lamp, from base to finial, is 30 inches tall. The wood base adds a couple inches to the back to make room for the lamp post. The entire lamp weighs in at about 22 pounds. less
