A unicorn was used as the maker's mark by Hollinshead & Kirkham (Ltd.) to identify their 20th-century ceramic products. The H&K factory was acquired by Johnson Bros. (Hanley) Ltd. in 1956.
The company produced tureens, cheese dishes, dinner plates, and platters, in addition to vases. They created a variety of motifs. Pattern 7807.
