The cannonballs are 3 1/2" in diameter. both andirons have the letters "P.S. & W. Co" on the bottom (I believe it stands for "Peck, Stow & Wilcox Company" of Connecticut). I am not sure the date but it is likely the early 20th century. The columns are beautifully fluted. No cracks or chips or dings. Very rare pair of andirons. See less
