Cylindrical in shape with … Read more Impressive as well as beautiful workmanship is reflected in these quality opposing Cloisonné "Officials" Hat Stands. Cylindrical in shape with a multitude of fine brass wires that hold the different enamels in place.
Blue birds are perched on the traditional Chinese mauve shaded rock formations with cherry blossoms and camellia style flowers. The entire beige background is of small scrolling intricate clouds, all painstakingly hand made. There is a single elegant white flower on the reverse and rich blue ruyi borders on top and bottom, condition is near perfect.
These are unusual in shape and not often found these days as an opposing pair. From the estate of a former Floirda senator. They will not dissapoint upon arrival.
