Paso Doble is a dramatic Latin dance that originated in Spain and has since become a popular ballroom dance around the world. It is characterized by its strong, bold movements and its use of dramatic arm and body postures to tell the story of the Spanish bullfight.
Bulls have always been known as the sign of strength, vitality and vigour. I grew up on a farm with a guard bull. I have scary and fun memories of hide and seek. Sometimes, the things that you are scared of are also the things you are attracted to- the morbid attraction. That is the story with the Bull drawings. I identify with the bull for its testosterone fuelled energy and the rawness. The strokes are rough and full of energy, similar to the bulls nature.
