Monumental! That is the only appropriate word to describe this larger-than-life Sputnik Chandelier that’s just arrived from Italy. We delicately restored this piece although its remained in impeccable condition throughout the years, sporting a delightful patina on its polished nickel hardware. Sputniks of this size are few and far between so it’s no surprise to have had to look as far as Europe.
Aside from its size, each arm was another rarely seen decorative element, a wonderful spherical detail that breaks up the overall design in a very playful manner. The Chandelier is equipped with 49-Bulb lamping retaining their original European sockets. We’ve sourced the appropriate bulbs which are included and will provide ample extras for future replacement. This piece is ready for installation, the mounting ring atop tethers to the also included nickel canopy by way of matching chain, allowing for the drop height of the piece to be fully adjustable. Electrical hookup to a dimmer switch is recommended. less
