It is clean and ready to bring magic to your space. This is a tribal rug, woven by Azilal tribal weavers in the Atlas Mountains. It is rectangular with fringe along one end. The condition is very good considering it is approximately 70 years old. These are kept in families as heirlooms, passed down for generations and repaired when needed. The yarn is in great condition. This rug can be vacuumed without a roller bar, shaken easily, as it is lightweight considering its size. Always handle them and shake from the middle, not holding the end, as it is less likely to stress the end rows of the weaving. Washing is very simple too. Lay flat and soak with very lightly soapy water, rinse completely with clean water. There are several how-to videos online you can reference if you have the space to wash it yourself. less
