Rather than upholster this beauty we decided to refinish the walnut top. WOW I had no idea how utterly beautiful the wood was underneath years of patina. I had not the heard to put padding over it. The iron base is original in finish and the stool is fully functions it turns as it should.
The only markings are a moving tag affixed to the underside.
