This is a magnificent antique Venetian Sansovino style high relief carved, richly water gilded and highly burnished frame. It is certainly an outstanding 19th Century large scaled museum quality piece. The opulent and bold carving makes a strong statement. The condition is perfect with only very minor gilt loss on some tips. It would be almost impossible to find another such elaborate and majestic piece.
