Lenore Schulman Lang (American 1927 - 2009) has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, and also studied at the Baltimore Art Museum with Shelby Shackleford Cox, as well as the Bauhaus School of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology. She served as an Artist-In-Residence in Jerusalem, Israel in 1973 and 1974, and as a Juror with the Chicago Art Institute in the 1980's. She was an active member of numerous artists' organizations, including the Arts Club of Chicago, the Chicago Society of Artists, the Printer's Atelier West of San Diego, and the Chicago Artist's Coalition, and was elected to membership in the Cliff Dwellers' Club of Chicago. Her work was shown in many one-person and juried exhibitions. less
