Up for sale is this vintage exhibiton poster for acclaimed photographer Aaron Siskind, one of two we are currently offering. Measuring 18" x 28", it is in excellent condition and features one of his trademark abstract images.
As a photographer, Aaron Siskind closely associated with the abstract expressionist movement, taking inspiration from artists like Franz Kline. Much of his work focuses on close-up details of nature and architecture, using flat surfaces to bring new and exciting depth and tone with texture that makes it completely abstract. He further emphasizes details and textures with his use of black and white film.
