Also, very much "In the … Read more Vintage 1970's 3-piece "Sapporo" occasional tables suite attributed to Mario Marenco Design for Mobil Girgi. Also, very much "In the School of" Pierre Jeanneret. These tables are made from solid walnut with masterful craftsmanship. No metal screws or brackets, these solid tables are held together by precision tongue and groove technique. Solid figural walnut tops stained in a light natural finish. The legs are also made from thick solid walnut planks stained darker. Each table has 3 legs which are splayed outward at a slight angle. With a gloss finish, the contrast between light and dark give these tables a formal yet refined modernist look.
