Description: Offered is a hand-painted, Royal Doulton porcelain plate depicting a charming scene from the Fox Hunt series that Royal Doulton … more Offered is a hand-painted, Royal Doulton porcelain plate depicting a charming scene from the Fox Hunt series that Royal Doulton premiered in 1927. The colorful scene is crisp and highly detailed. It is set against a bright green border with heavy gold banding around the fluted edge.The deep border sets the scene off beautifully. It is in very good to excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There are several tiny scratches to the painted border. Please see all photos for more detail on condition. It is signed by the artist, "J. Price".

From 1913 to the 1930's an impressed date-number system was used to indicate when the mold was made. This mold was made on 3-4-28. Aside from the backstamp (which was used from 1922 into the 1950s), there are a series of handwritten numbers which I am unfamiliar with (BB15210 and H3436).
