It looks especially beautiful under natural light, which sets off the sheen and vibrant color of the glass stones. On the underside, in old plastic tape block letters, reads:

"Made by Jim Price
Room - 105
December 21st, 1967"

This adds provenance to the piece, suggesting that it may have been made in an art collective of some kind. I can't say enough how rare it is to find a piece like this, beautifully made by hand during the height of 60’s psychedelia and right on track with the style of the period. This table would work wonderfully as either a coffee table or games table, or one could easily remove the legs, add a bracket and hang up for a gorgeous piece of abstract wall art.
