This is a beautiful Chinese Cloisonné Box with lid that is marked China which means it was made between 1890-1920. … Read more This is a beautiful Chinese Cloisonné Box with lid that is marked China which means it was made between 1890-1920. It is turquoise with pink cherry blossoms and is in good condition with just a little wear on the enamel, the color has darkened with wear, it’s darker than another one I have with the same pattern. It is 100-120 years old and measures 3 1/8”W x 3 1/8”H. These boxes were made by hand and are works of art. The wires that make the design were hand pinched, then the enamel paint was added, the box was fired, then the box was sanded and polished. See less
