This is a beautiful Chinese Cloisonné Box with lid that is marked China which means it was made between 1890-1920 … Read more This is a beautiful Chinese Cloisonné Box with lid that is marked China which means it was made between 1890-1920 which makes it from 100-120 years old. It is turquoise with pink cherry blossoms. It is in good condition and measures 4 1/2”W x 3 1/2”H. These boxes were made by hand and are works of art. The wires that make up the design were soldered to the base, hand pinched, then the enamel paint was floated onto the piece one color at a time, it was fired after each color, then it was sanded and polished.
