Description: Exquisitely carved half round rosewood table in traditional Chinese form. Beautiful warm colouring and figuring in the old satin smooth … more Exquisitely carved half round rosewood table in traditional Chinese form. Beautiful warm colouring and figuring in the old satin smooth wood. The apron on this particular table has a repeating circular design which includes delicate hanging flowers and leaves, the legs terminating in traditional Ruyi form feet. This particular carving makes the piece 'stand out' from the usual demi lune forms seen.
A very genuine, elegant and auspicious table.
Condition is very good with some honest repair in places especially to stretchers at bottom. Solid and very functional for a variety of uses.
No markings.
Age: Late 19th Century/Early 20th. Century.
