Late 1800s hand painted canvasback duck decoy. Classic red head with black and white body. This antique decoy has a smooth face with no eyes. Low head position. The bottom has a metal rudder for stability and a loop for the tether line. Paint has cracked and chipped with years of use. Priceless patina.
The decoy measures about 13 1/2 inches long.
