Vintage midcentury abstract wood, brass, and aluminum sculpture
circa 1960s-70s
Paper on bottom reads “Jim Gibson”, possibly the signature of the artist. Jim or James Gibson was a sculptor who studied at the University of Charleston, (Morris Harvey College) and received his MFA in sculpture from Ohio University. He taught art at Middle Tennessee State from 1970-1999
Sculpture measures 9.5” high, 4” wide, and 2” deep
