Maple Hardwood in walnut (dark brown) stain
Warm neutral two-tone fabric woven in the traditional checkerboard pattern with heavy-duty 100% cotton canvas.

Shaker tape was developed and used to weave seats in place of rush, cane, or splint as cotton was longer lasting-did not dry out, split, or snag the seat of your pants!
