Description: 20th Century brass Turkish coffee or spice grinder. It is perfect piece for your kitchen or coffee bar décor. Also … more 20th Century brass Turkish coffee or spice grinder. It is perfect piece for your kitchen or coffee bar décor. Also unique gift idea for a coffee lover. It is in good vintage condition, consistent with its age and history. The handle folds up and fits inside the upper chamber when not in use. The handle can also be used to adjust the fineness of the grind. Upper chamber holds the coffee beans, and the lower chamber collects the coffee. The maker is Hasan Akvol. This was purchased in Istanbul in 1986. It is not known if it was made earlier than this so the age has been set for the 1980s. Dimension are 2.5" in diameter, 10" tall, and weighs 24.5 ounces.
