This upcycled Harry & David bin has been given new life with meticulously hand-painted details. Enhanced with black and white checkerboards/harlequins, polka dots, and whimsical artistic accents, it has a stately look. Gold and red paint add gorgeous highlights. It has been sealed with multiple coats of a glossy, durable poly finish for protection. (It is not suited for outdoor use.)
It is a lovely accent piece for any Mackenzie Childs OR Alice in Wonderland fan and was specially designed to accompany my own line of black-and-white checkerboard/harlequin-style furniture and décor pieces.
It easily takes the spotlight on its own next to a fireplace with wood starters, near your couch or favorite chair as a magazine holder or container filled with your yarn or needlework materials, in the bath filled with towels, or in a kitchen filled with a variety of cooking utensils. Or set it among a grouping of my decorative bottles for a show-stopping centerpiece on a tray.
