Born in 1935 into one the island of Murano’s oldest glass blowing families, Nasan's expertise and passion shine through in every delicate curve of this exquisite table lamp.

Drawing from centuries-old techniques and a deep well of creativity, Nasan infuses his work with a modern sensibility that captivates the eye. His dedication to preserving the art of glass blowing has earned him a place of honor among the collections of prestigious institutions such as the Corning Museum of Glass and The Museum of Modern Art in New York.

During the era of 1965 to 1980, Nasan collaborated with the esteemed A.V. Mazzega di Murano company, to create luxurious and innovative art glass pieces that are no longer in production today, and are mainly found at luxurious auction houses.

In the 1970's he created the Pagoda Lamp, hand blown from amber glass to create a sinuous form that reaches nearly 2 feet in height. Delicate splashes of white glass adorn its surface, creating a mesmerizing tortoiseshell effect.

Inspired by the tiered Pagoda towers of Japan, the lamp features four undulating elliptical tiers, each a testament to Nasan's mastery of form and proportion. As light dances through its translucent layers, the Pagoda Lamp casts a warm, inviting glow that transforms any space into a sanctuary of beauty and serenity.
