This hand-drawn image is an antique print of an engraving of a blueprint design for the ceiling of the Billiards Room in Paris. The dramatic, vibrant hues of blues, umber, turquoise, and hints of shimmering gold create a visually stunning piece. The work is titled and annotated with information about its creation, including the names of the designer and architect as well as the printer. The luxurious setting depicted in this image must have been a truly exquisite place to enjoy a game of billiards. This image, originating from Paris in the 1800s, is framed more recently (in the 90s) in a deep gold frame, embellished with a white linen paper matte with a gold edge and non-glare museum glass.
